The naughty schoolgirl look at Derek Lam’s Fall 2012 runway show was accentuated in the eye makeup, which made each model appear a bit more wild and eccentric than your average student. The eyes were the brainchild of Estée Lauder’s Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux, who debuted a new double-ended mascara wand meant to open and lift the eyes, using black on top (to lift the eye) and brown on the bottom (to bring it down)—pretty much amazing!
